Worship at Maplewood UMC
Maplewood worships every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m.
on the corner of Flora and Sutton in Maplewood, Missouri.
The service is also streamed on the congregation's Facebook page.
There is a chair lift at the south entrance for those who need it.

At Maplewood UMC, everyone is not only welcome,  but celebrated
for exactly who God has created you to be.
Worship is relaxed and relational. The services are traditional, but casual.
The music is a mixture of hymns and praise songs.

"I was glad when they said unto me, 'Let us go into the house of the Lord!'"

Small Groups
Maplewood offers a variety of ongoing and short-term small groups for all ages. Small groups provide an opportunity for growth in the knowledge and love of  God, and a chance to offer encouragement and build friendship, as we are nourished through the love of Christ.

Small groups at Maplewood are a safe place to wonder, to ask questions, and to simply be yourself as you deepen your understanding of who God is and who God is calling us to be.

"Therefore encourage one another and build up each other,
as indeed you are doing."
Outreach and Service
Sharing God’s love through hands-on service is a priority at Maplewood UMC. The congregation is deeply engaged in the community, and has been recognized as "Citizen of the Year" by the Maplewood Richmond Heights School District. Throughout the year we offer a variety of opportunities for folks to engage in mission and service.

Collaborations are important at Maplewood, and the congregation is proud to partner with a number of community agencies to serve the needs of our neighbors around us.

"Whoever wishes to be great among you, must be your servant."

“Come to the Table.”

The image of feeding and being fed runs throughout scripture. The table is a powerful symbol of community and relationship, and forms the centerpiece of Maplewood’s vision statement: “A community whose body, mind, heart, and spirit are fed through the love of Christ.”

To be fed or nourished through the love of Christ is a beautiful metaphor for what God’s grace does. Grace is nourishment for our spirits, as surely as food is nourishment for our bodies. And offering grace to one who is suffering is an act motivated by love, as surely as offering food to one who is hungry.

What is Our Mission?

Feeding the Community - body, mind, heart, and spirit - through the love of Christ.
