Small Groups

Come and Join one of our Small Groups!

Participating in small groups gives us a chance to develop relationships with other people as we learn more about the Christian faith and how we live our faith on a day-by-day basis. These groups are a safe place to ask questions, share our thoughts, and simply be who we are joined with others who are on this journey of faith. We would love to have you join us and share you views.

“The Earth is the Lord’s”
Lent Reflection Group

Beginning Wednesday, March 12 at 7 p.m. and continuing through the season of Lent, there will be an opportunity to gather and reflect on topics related to environmentalism, creation care, and eco-theology. Worship services during Lent will highlight these issues in a series called, “The Earth is the Lord’s,” and each Wednesday evening Pastor Andy will lead a reflection on ideas and questions that emerge from the previous Sunday’s worship time. No book purchase is required; each week will be a stand-alone set of reflection questions.

Young Adult Bible Study

Are you a 20-29 year old? If so, there is a great opportunity for you to build a relationship with God as well as with each other through God. There will be a Young Adult Bible study held at Maplewood United Methodist Church, on the corner of Flora and Sutton, from 12-2 every Saturday afternoon starting January 18th. So many young people are looking to belong to something. Together, this group can bring growth within our own relationships with God and with one another. Come alone or bring a friend! As we like to say, “Come to the table!”
