Applications for Christmas Assistance Are Available Maplewood UMC has a long history of providing Christmas support through the Giving Tree to children/families with a need in the community. Families receive $25.00 Walmart gift cards allowing them the dignity of shopping for their children's needs and wants. Parents also receive gift wrap and tape. Transportation assistance to and from Walmart can be provided if needed. Applications for the program are available.
