In Lieu of April Showers….
The Girls Scouts of America cancelled their April Showers collection of personal hygiene items this year. In years past all items collected by Girl Scout Troops Maplewood were given to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry located at Immaculate Conception Church in Maplewood for distribution to families in the local community. If you would like to help meet this need that was normally filled through April Showers, Rona Chandler will have a box on her front porch at 7517 Comfort Ave. in Maplewood, ready to receive unopened personal hygiene items. Any items placed in the box will be delivered to the food pantry at Immaculate Conception Church in Maplewood.
